in my nose

Oh in my nose there is a place
So concealed by the hair and face
Where little nudkins run and race
And carry on and they take up space!

In slick black tails and big top hats
Flutter about like dingybats
Blow their horns to scare off the cats
They tap their dance though they wear flats!

They whistle in the wind so free
Buzz and blip like a bumblebee
Twang their tongues what a sight to see
They clap their hands and cry with glee!

“Oh we’re the little nudkin men
Been in here since oh God knows when
We’ll sing our song and honk again
Like an old goose or pecking hen!

We pop our corks then splash about
Tickle the nose oh let us out
Cause if you don’t we’ll surely shout
Exercise power show our clout!

We’ll climb into your noodle brain
Drum our drums make you so insane
Soon you’ll sneeze and you’ll feel the pain
Shake your head and then shake again!”

And soon you hear their little show
Now you get it you’re in the know
Take a hanky you start to blow
So hard and fast and out they go!
